- What do you mean by "secure installation" of my site?
- Before installing your site, we're gonna create a separate, distinct new Unix user, unique for each of your accounts. When we do this, for each of our clients in part, we select "Enhanced Security" mode, for any of our users. Those users will have their home directories "locked down."
- What this means?
- It means that the permissions on your home directory will be changed in such a manner that absolutely no one besides your user, or the apache user, will be able to view anything inside your home directory.
Specifically, "Enhanced Security" means your user's home directory has its permissions set to 750 and its group is changed to adm. This option is much more secure, but is not for people that share data between their users.
- What stuff will you get installed for me?
- Any [or every] of the following: WordPress, Gallery, ZenCart, PhpGedView, OpenX, Pligg, dotProject, Moodle, Joomla, Drupal, phpBB, MediaWiki, WebCalendar, Advanced Poll. |
